Robert was born in Malta, and has been sailing since his childhood days. His love for the sea and everything related started when he joined a local dinghy sailing club, Vikings in 1999. He started off sailing mirror dinghies, and at 17 years of age progressed to sailing laser class dinghies.Together with his parents, Robert also spent many days sailing with his parents to the island of Sicily.Robert flew to the UK to become an RYA Cruising Instructor in 2011, and soon after became an RYA Yachtmaster Instructor in 2012. Since then, he has never looked back, and his love of teaching and passing on his knowledge to others grows fonder every passing day!
