Description
The RYA Marine Radio SRC VHF course is an internationally recognized training program that teaches the correct operation of marine VHF radios and Digital Selective Calling (DSC) equipment used onboard yachts and powerboats. The course covers radio communication procedures, distress and emergency calls, GMDSS operations, safety communications, and legal requirements for marine radio use. Successful candidates receive the Short Range Certificate (SRC), which is legally required in many countries for operating marine VHF radio equipment onboard leisure vessels.
