The RYA Day Skipper Theory Online course is designed for aspiring skippers and sailing enthusiasts who want to develop essential navigation and seamanship knowledge from the comfort of their home.

Delivered in partnership with a recognised UK sailing school, this course provides comprehensive theoretical training required for the RYA Day Skipper certification pathway. Students receive a complete theory pack by post along with access to an online learning portal containing all course modules and study materials.

Throughout the course, learners are supported by a dedicated instructor and have up to 8 months to complete the programme and final assessment papers at their own pace.

Upon successful completion, students can continue with either the RYA Day Skipper Practical Sail or RYA Day Skipper Practical Motor courses.
