DAY SKIPPER PRACTICAL

RYA Day Skipper Practical is a must for skippers who wish to take out their family and friends, the entry level to skippering and a minimum qualification.

We are a fully recognised RYA training centre. At PROSAILING MALTA our mission is to deliver sailing excellence from the novice to the more experienced sailor.

You should have the necessary level of skill required for Day Skipper theory prior to the course; if not we have the following options.

  • A 10 day combination course covering forty hours delivered in our classroom at our shore based centre followed by 5 days practical on board our training yacht.
  • We also provide evening classes spread over 3 evenings throughout the month of January for the Day Skipper Theory course

Five days sailing! The best way sailing skills are acquired in a safe and fun environment.

Our base is in Marsametto Harbour, Malta. Malta offers safe and warm sailing all the year round. Weather conditions are ideal for sailing.

From our base in Marsamxetto Harbour we will be sailing around the Maltese Archipelago including the picturesque sister Islands of Comino and Gozo.(weather permitting) There will also be plenty of time to go ashore in the evenings to relax and spend time visiting historical landmarks and having the opportunity of tasting local cuisine.
